At The Rig Shop we offer the complete package, "Everything From The Deck Up". We can meet all your rigging requirements including the service, repair and replacement of all makes of mast, rigging, vang and hydraulic systems.
Our fully equipped work shop and tooling facilities enable us to work on the largest yachts and by keeping an extensive range of fittings in stock we can react quickly to any requirement.
Production Masts
The Rig Shop maintains a close relationship with all the leading mast manufacturers so, regardless of the make and model, we can supply parts and the necessary expertise to keep your production mast in good health.
"Freestyle" Custom Masts
In addition to being UK agents for Nordic Carbon Masts, we also manufacture our own brand of high quality custom masts and associated fittings. These bespoke spars are all designed and built to suit the customers exact requirements.
Standing Rigging
Whilst standard 1 x 19 wire rigging remains a popular choice there are now alternatives which can offer a much greater performance.
The strand configuration of Compact Strand wire rigging results in a wire which is far more resistant to stretch.
Alternatively Rod Rigging has great strength and low stretch characteristics and is found on a whole range of boats from Super Yachts and Blue Water cruisers to many production boats and most racing boats.
Our heading presses and swaging machnes allow us to work on yachts and super yachts of all sizes and we have a close relationship with suppliers such as Navtec and BSI to ensure that only the very best materials are used.
Increasingly composite stays are being used to re rig entire boats or in certain specific applications such as runners and backstays where they offer an incredibly strong and light weight solution.
Our Composite Rigging division specialises in the design and manufacture of a range of Kevlar & PBO composite cables for all sorts of tensile applications.
